Interview with Prof. Jochen Zefuss

Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jochen Zefuss is a researcher from the Technische Universität Braunschweig (Institute of Building Materials, Concrete Structures and Fire Safety) who has authored several publications on topics such as fire dynamics and fire safety of bio-based materials. An official expert of the DIBt German Institute for Structural Engineering, he is the Chairman of the DIN mirror group « Eurocode Fire Parts » and also a member of various CEN Technical Committees.

In this exclusive interview, Professor Zehfuss focused on the use of renewable raw materials as insulation materials.
