Fire Safe Europe at the JRC Fire Safety Engineering Expert Network

Fire Safe Europe participated in the 7th Meeting of the JRC Fire Safety Engineering Expert Network, organised by the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre. 

The meeting brings together experts from the European Commission, standardisation bodies and stakeholders across Europe to exchange updates on policies, research and standardisation related to fire safety in the built environment. 

During the meeting, Fire Safe Europe is presenting its recent work on fire safety inspections, a project aimed at developing European guidelines and practical checklists to support more consistent and effective inspections of buildings across Europe. Strengthening inspections is a key step to ensure that fire safety measures remain effective throughout the life cycle of buildings.

Looking forward to the exchanges with colleagues from across the EU and to continuing the work together to strengthen fire safety in Europe’s built environment.
